Parakletes has helped me in so many ways, like with algebra when I was really struggling, and with English when I didn't know how to structure my papers. This past summer they helped me with the whole college application process. It's amazing how they're so good at every subject and teach in an exciting way so as to capture my short attention span. Opposite to school, it was never a drag to work on academics with Parakletes. Also, I am a state champion swimmer and was aiming for a top-tier school, but I was concerned about how I would fare academically. Parakletes helped me see that brand-name schools aren't always the best. They helped me find a school that is smaller and perfect for me. I can't wait to start in the fall! I was in a huge bind before Parakletes came to the rescue. I had a big project due for English in a class that was known as the hardest class in my whole school. Everyone was struggling with this paper. Parakletes helped me write in an organized fashion, helping me with structure, evidence, and how to think about the impact (the "so what?" of my analyses). They showed me how to think criticially about the process of writing and the skill of argumentation. This skill is so important but aren't taught in schools. I would recommend every student to get help from Parakletes to hone their critical thinking skills but also for anything else they need help with in their educational journey!

I am so thankful for Parakletes! They helped me prepare for college, especially with all of my writings throughout high school and with my college essays. They also helped me with the ACT when explanations from prep books were not clear. Because of them I got into my dream school. With the foundations they built into me, I am now preparing for the MCAT with the goal of attending medical school. The critical thinking skills I learned are lifelong essentials I will carry with me into med school and beyond! I don't know why my school didn't teach me to think very critically, but thank you, Parakletes, for the much-needed guidance and setting me on a solid trajectory!

I was really struggling my junior year in high school and reached out to Parakletes. I didn't have a good foundation for studying, and it started to really show. Once they stepped in, they showed me how to study, the mentality behind hard work, and consistency. I started making a huge leap in all of my classes (history, English, algebra 2, and physics, which was my least favorite subject). I still remember how I scored a high A on my dreaded physics final to save my grade! By the time I was finished with high school, I was confident that I could do well in college. I never had this confidence before. I can't thank Parakletes enough for walking side by side with me during my hardest times and instilling the belief that I can do great things. I am now in college and doing extremely well due to the foundation they helped me build.
